What does a title sequence look like ?

What does a title sequence look like ?
Title sequence named ‘Kill Your Friends’. Kill Your Friends was made by an amateur producer who wanted to make a point which is “you don’t need money to make magic’ there budget for this was only £350. This title sequence has many features and has many conventions. Usually at first, in a title sequence there is the production company and logo which is shown to the audience. So they are aware of who is part of the film.
The title appears in the screen in a very creative way, they are not title that scroll on the screen, and they are on objects such as a beer bottle. The titles are put onto objects that link with the subject such as the person who made sound; their name was shown on a cd. Many objects such as books, Cds and so on, this make it more interesting because it also informs the audience with the situation. As soon as the title sequence starts there are panning shots and close ups of objects that relate to drinking, drugs, also the room is very messy, where the glass bottles are Brocken and all over the floor, needles are lying on the floor. This indicates that someone must have had a party in their apartment. All of this panning and close ups build up some tension straight away because the audience wants to know what has happened after this party, has some one died. The audience will have many thoughts and questions in their head that they would like to be answered. This is why this title sequence is really good and it works because it bonds with the audience straight away.
The title sequence of Kill Your Friends links in with my chosen genre which is a thriller, not only does the title sequence have a connection with the genre, it also has a similar them where it’s about death.
